 RAD Torque Systems Named Finalist in 2024 Edison Awards™

B-RAD Xtreme Torque Wrench is honoured for innovation excellence in Commercial Technology: Engineering & Manufacturing Tools category.

Abbotsford, BC (February 22, 2024) – RAD Torque Systems is a finalist in the prestigious 2024 Edison Awards™, which honour innovations and innovators from around the world. RAD Torque is being recognized for its ground-breaking new industrial torque wrench, the B-RAD Xtreme (B-RAD X) Series under the Commercial Technology: Engineering & Manufacturing Tools category.

The B-RAD X is the first battery-powered torque wrench capable of torquing up to 11,000 ft. lbs./ 15,000 Nm – making it the most powerful cordless torque wrench in the world. The new and innovative B-RAD X torque wrench comes in three different sizes:

• B-RAD X 5,000 ft. lbs. / 7,000 Nm
• B-RAD X 8,000 ft. lbs. / 10K Nm
• B-RAD X 11K ft. lbs. / 15K Nm

Finalists in the 2024 Edison Awards are selected by a peer reviewed voting body, made up of top executives, academics, and innovation leaders from across the globe. As a finalist, RAD Torque Systems will receive either the gold, silver, or bronze award. The winners will be announced at the 2024 Edison Awards Gala in Fort Myers, Florida on April 18, 2024.

The Edison Awards™ are named after the American inventor Thomas Edison and recognizes some of the most innovative products and business leaders in the world including Steve Jobs, Gwynne Shotwell, Ginni Rometty and Lanzatech, Apple and Lockheed Martin.
